EQUIPPING
RedemptionWorks International exists to bring glory to God through the proclamation by word and deed of the good news of redemption through faith in Jesus Christ.
To that end, we organize Bible studies, teacher training, English classes, and agriculture training.
The Bible is foundational in all we do and teach. Every Sunday evening we meet as a fellowship group for worship and teaching foundational truths from God’s Word in English, French and Lingala.
BIBLE INSTRUCTION
ALL SCRIPTURE IS INSPIRED BY GOD AND PROFITABLE
FOR TEACHING, FOR REPROOF, FOR CORRECTION,
FOR TRAINING IN RIGHTEOUSNESS.
2 TIMOTHY 3:16
Personal and group study of the Scriptures is vital for spiritual health and growth.

BE DILIGENT TO PRESENT YOURSELF APPROVED TO GOD
AS A WORKMAN WHO DOES NOT NEED TO BE ASHAMED,
ACCURATELY HANDLING THE WORD OF TRUTH.
2 TIMOTHY 2:15

We teach and demonstrate five methods for incorporating God's Word in one's life.
Hear - Read - Study - Memorize - Meditate
TEACHER TRAINING
RWI trains educators to acquire knowledge, think critically, plan effectively and inspire lifelong learning.

Three key concepts for teaching effectively:

"You can't teach what you don't know."
"If you fail to prepare, you're preparing to fail."
"You haven't taught them until they have learned."

TEACHING ENGLISH
RWI provides a solid foundation for English language learning: reading, writing, speaking and listening.
French is the official language of the D R Congo. There are 4 national languages and over 200 other languages spoken. Proficiency in English is key to one's ability to develop professionally and find employment.

AGRICULTURAL TRAINING
RWI empowers farmers to:

-
Redeem their land
-
Restore productivity
-
Reap a profit
Most of the people in the Equator Province of DRC live off the land and are caught in the vicious and endless cycle of dependency and poverty. ‘Slash and burn’ agriculture is widely practiced and is highly wasteful and unproductive.

Despite the abundance of rainfall and fertile land, D R Congo ranks as one of the world’s most undernourished countries. RWI is partnering with Farming God’s Way as a resource to teach, train and equip the poor to break the yoke of poverty.

RWI teaches farmers that faithful use of their small plots is required to produce more food for their family and market using the Biblical concepts, simple technology skills, and wise management practices.
