Forging the Way Forward With Prayer & Thanksgiving!

The worldwide shut down due to the Covid-19 pandemic extended to the D R Congo on March 19. All domestic flights were suspended and on March 24 the borders were closed. Schools and churches were closed and severe restrictions were imposed to mitigate the possible spread of the virus.

The RWI team in Mbandaka grew stronger as they trusted God during the pandemic and another Ebola outbreak. They are beacons of hope and encouragement.

During the pandemic, the English teachers capitalized on the situation by gathering each week to study the Biblical keys of Farming God’s Way as well as their need to be faithful stewards of the resources God has given to them.

FGW team continued to apply the technology, Biblical principles, and management skills in their gardens to produce vegetables for their families, neighbors, and a small market.

After a 4-month shut down, schools were allowed to reopen in August. With tremendous enthusiasm, the English Training Center in Mbandaka began offering English language instruction once again on Monday, August 11 with 52 students; the largest group to sign up to date.

We are so thankful! Pray for God’s timing to return to Africa.

United in Love, Walking in Hope, Persevering in Faith,

Ron & Doris
